SCOPE OF WORK
Greetings and thanks for your interest in this work.
This work is quite straight forward, and it is simply to take a hand sketched floor plan for a small 2-bedroom / one-floor vacation house and convert it into the following 4 sets of deliverables:
PLEASE QUOTE FOUR (4) PRICES, ONE FOR EACH OF THE FOLLOWING STEPS:
1. One 2D Floor Plan
2. Four 2D Elevation Drawings
3. One 3D Floor Plan Rendering (including typical furniture – interior design is NOT required)
4. Four 3D House Exterior Renderings
The intention is that if I am very satisfied with the first step, I will award the freelancer the second step, and so on for the third and then the fourth steps.
The hand-sketched floor plan shall be sent to the selected person for this work after awarding him/her the first step.
Although, the work is straight forward, the following are some explanations of each step simply to avoid misunderstandings and disagreements later (PLEASE ALSO READ THE IMPORTANT GENERAL NOTES AT THE END OF THIS SCOPE):
(NOTE: this website only allows uploading 3 attachments in the POST PROJECT page. Therefore, two attachments are missing here and will be provided to those interested).
STEP 1: ONE 2D FLOOR PLAN
• The required 2D Floor Plan is to show detailed measurements of all lengths, widths, depths, and area sizes similar to the example provided as Attachment 1.
• The hand-sketched drawing includes the main measurements but not all, and it uses a scaled sheet (each square is one meter). The designer shall:
1. Propose typical standards for sizes (for example for: exterior wall thicknesses, interior wall thicknesses, glass wall thicknesses, door widths and heights, kitchen cabinet sizes, closet depths, bathroom fixtures, furniture, appliances, step heights, etc.). I may make a few modifications to these standard sizes where needed after receiving your draft design.
2. Determine the remaining measurements for whatever has not been defined in the hand-sketched drawing after applying the above standard sizes.
• Include the furniture indicated in the hand-sketched drawing.
• The internal configuration of the two bathrooms’ fixtures and their locations inside each bathroom have not been provided in the hand-sketched drawing. The designer is to propose the best configurations and locations.
STEP 2: FOUR 2D ELEVATION DRAWINGS
• The required 2D Elevation Drawings must show detailed measurements of all lengths, widths, depths, and heights similar to the example provided in Attachment 2 and 3.
• The hand-sketched drawing we are providing includes a small drawing illustrating the shape of the building from the side. Based on the mentioned illustration and based on the approved 2D Floor Plan (from Step 1), the designer shall develop four elevation drawings; one for each side of the house.
• The designer shall propose typical standards for those measurements that are not provided.
• Show rain gutter in the drawing.
STEP 3: ONE 3D FLOOR PLAN RENDERING
• Similar in clarity and details to what is provided as Attachment 4.
• We are NOT requesting interior design. We have already determined the locations of the different pieces of furniture and provided symbols for them in the 2D plan. We only wish to use detailed symbols of the furniture, fixtures and other elements.
• Use fresh spring colors for the pieces of furniture, carpets, blankets, pillows, etc.
• Show all furniture, kitchen cabinets and appliances, bathroom fixtures, doors, windows.
• Flooring shall be ceramic that looks like parquet.
• The color of the walls shall be very light beige.
• Surround the house with green grass, forest trees, and apple trees.
STEP 4: FOUR 3D HOUSE EXTERIOR RENDERINGS
• Same as in the model provided as Attachment 5.
• Apply the same wood cladding and stone cladding shown in Attachment 5 (including same colors and models).
• Apply the same type of roof (and color) as shown in Attachment 5.
• Apply the same door color, exterior paint color, window frame types and colors, as shown in Attachment 5.
• Apply the same rain gutter shown in Attachment 5 (same color, size, models).
• Apply the same rail type, size, and color shown in Attachment 5.
IMPORTANT GENERAL NOTES:
• Provide all drawings and renderings in two formats:
1. Their source files in which they were developed – without password – and editable by us after receiving them
2. PDF for 2D drawings / JPG for 3D Renderings
• The copyrights for all drawings and renderings shall be to our company and a copyright statement to this effect is required at the completion of each step.
• Upon finalizing each step after incorporating all comments, include a watermark of our company name as well as our logo in locations within the related drawings/renderings to be determined by us.
