Hi Danielle,

I have (I hope) an interesting challenge. I'm a designer/developer myself, but I'm an aspiring writer (got two books written) and I've mulled over an idea for a comic book I'd like to do. I've got the first edition written and I'd like to see how it sits with some illustration line-work (no colouring or inking just yet)

I've attached some samples of the type of tone I'm looking at. I'm a fan of Japanese artwork (dramatic yet minimalist approach). The concept revolves around a strong female protagonist and involves some relatively dicey issues around gender identity. But before I divulge more on that, could you answer a couple questions:
1. do you have any strong religious and or moral beliefs that would make you uncomfortable (e.g. homosexuality, transgender issues etc?)
2. Do you have any sample work relevant to what I've attached that I could look at?

Hope I haven't wasted your time. Look forward to hearing from you.
