Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: Not sure
General information for the business: Call Center
Industry: Business
Description of support work: We are a call center that received a contract which requires the following. A total of 62 call center seats to be filled at all times for the following hours. Monday - friday 8am-8pm( 12 hour days) and Saturday, 8am- 4pm. Thats a 68 hour work week
Normal Employment hours in our country are 8am- 5 pm which includes a 1 hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks. We pay for the breaks we don't pay for lunch hour
We hiring our team now and if needed we could hire part timers as well as full timers (and we can require overtime)
We can require 12 hour work shifts but we don't expect the majority ( just a minority ) to want to work 12 hour shifts 4 days a week ( though some may )and that totals 44 hours of work per week (which results in 4 hours of overtime hours, which is 1.5 base salary). We can require 12 hour shifts 1 or perhaps 2 days a week
Our goal is to use time in an efficient and cost effective manner and make this workable for our team. Im guessing that three scenarios on your part would be best.
So we need you to calculate three best case scenarios of how we can do this. My thought is a combination between part timers/ full timers/ overtimers but its your expertise that will get the job done
Our goal is to reduce our overall cost and make this workable . Also keep in mind that we are a us based company and we need to follow the us based calendar so us legal holidays ( bank holidays ) we would not work.
Additionally for every 10- 15 representative that we have "on the floor" we need 1 supervisor, so the issue is that there will probably be times when there are more than 62 persons on the floor ( possibly over 100 ) ,i know that complicates matters as well but thats why were bidding this out
Appreciate the help and look forward to well qualified human resource personnel and those with extensive scheduling experience
