General information for the business: require detailed construction cost estimate: school modernization
Description of support work: Modernization/new construction at 3 schools. Require detailed cost estimate based on accurate material take-offs for all work described in the drawings. Prices for labor and materials must be based on UNION WAGES in the United States, CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCO.
NOTE: YOU ARE NOT ESTIMATING THE COST OF THE BUILDINGS. The buildings, themselves, are pre-manufactured portable buildings and their cost is fixed and NOT part of the scope. The estimate is just the scope of new work--mostly electrical, fire alarm and data, with some casework, finishes and other minor alterations to the buildings. All NEW utilities, grading, and site work are to be estimated.
The links to the drawings and a sample worksheet and summary sheet are included. Note that each building MUST be on separate worksheet and each school MUST be in a separate file.
The deadline is November 11.
