Hello there, I am looking for an accountant who can help me with my newly formed Ltd Company. This is my first venture and I am very confused about what I am supposed to be doing.
In brief, I have worked as a freelance sound engineer for some time, paying tax as a sole trader. Earlier this year I sought to legitimise my services by beginning a Ltd Company. There were several reasons why this seemed like a logical thing to do, and my company is now registered with Companies House.
However, I am completely new to this, and I really don’t know anything about the tax side of things. Furthermore, after having conversations with one or two people, I now worry that maybe this was not the right step.
The bottom line is that I’m incredibly confused and I very much need the advice of someone who knows what they are talking about!
So, at the moment I am looking for someone to help me decide the best way forward from here, with a view to then enlisting their accounting services for dealing with HMRC in the future.
I would be extremely grateful to hear your thoughts!
