Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
1. I will provide a list of 900 UK establishments (hotels, restaurants, conference centres etc) with private rooms for parties and events (or, in the case of, say, restaurants are venues which can occasionally be hired in their entirety for such events).
2. The job is very simple: it is to identify and record the URL most closely associated with the private room function at the given address, and enter it.
Eg. Usually, the relevant address will not be www.anyvenue.co.uk
but sometimes
www.anyvenue.co.uk/events
or
www.anyvenue.co.uk/weddings
or
www.anyvenue.co.uk/thepartycellar…
Hopefully, you get the idea! In a well organised website, it should be the work of a second to identify the relevant page. Sometimes it will require a bit of initiative. If you cannot easily find the relevant sub-page, though, just put home page.
Note. These data points are merely a starting point for further research, so it does not matter if the results are not 100% right and 100% complete: the point is to be substantially correct and complete within a reasonable timescale.
I will supply a link to an online database, of two columns, of which column A is the input name and address, and column B the output data, the associated URL.
Thus the job itself is very simple. It is, however, the beginning of a longer ongoing project, so there is scope for a flourishing online relationship.
