Hi Sam

Wondering if you can explain what would and wouild not be posible in a spread sheet that is dealing with recruitment of nannies and Aupairs.

As I envisage a sheet ? ( may be its a dream) I would have Candidates in rows? and families ( who would be looking to recruit candidates) in collumns? Need not be that way round and may be easier in completely seperate tabs?

Candidates wouuld have some standard atributes that would need matching to families requirements. In basic

Family needs a none smoking nanny preferably aged 25 plus wit experience in UK . There would probably be somewhere between 8-12 atribues ( not thought them all through?

If little features like automatically calculating age from a DOB can be put is so its easy to lift data?

Once a candidate is placed with a family both would need to have some form of status changed to not available or not looking . Howevr with Aupairs chances are the family will be looking again in a year or so as the AuPair moves on. Therfor keeping data woould be great?

What do you think?

What would the lmit on the number of candidates / families be before it starts creaking?

Let me know if this all makes sense and any feed back?
