Experience Level: Expert
General information for the business: Market research to test the feasibility of an idea in the job changer/career development marketplace
Industry: Education
Geographical areas: London, UK
Data to include: I'm trying to formulate an idea and want to see if there is any commercial basis for the idea and if so, which groups to best target.

I would like someone to develop a survey which will establish interest of individuals who are thinking of changing or starting new careers. I'd like some help to establish if there is a market for the service I'm thinking of providing and if so, the amount of money people will pay. Clearly the service should be aimed at a specific sector, so I'd like the survey to be done primarily across two main groups of job seekers/ changers: 1. graduates and 2. people who've done one career and might be looking to change to an alternative (people in their 30's, 40's, 50's).

I have listed on this form that I'm interested primarily in hearing from people in the UK as I imagine this will need face to face surveys being carried out with some of the target groups.

Finally, if there is some appetite for the service, then I'd like some idea of the sorts of jobs people would be most interested to have services provided in. Do most people thinking of moving roles want to find out most about careers in medicine? Engineering? Entrepreneurship? Hairdressing? What are the main sectors for me to look at?
Extra notes: I have not got a website and have not done any research other than to see if there are any other service providers offering a similar service. I can't find any which may well mean there is no market for this.
