Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
SlipAlert is a portable device for testing the slipperiness of floors. It has proven to be the world’s best portable testing device that accurately measures the dynamic co-efficient of friction and gives a reliable correlation with the TRL Pendulum. It was designed in the UK by Dr Malcolm Bailey, a leading slip expert, Chair of the UK and European Standards Committees dealing with slip resistance. SlipAlert has been patented, and is endorsed by leading slip consultants around the world and in the USA.

SlipAlert is gaining a reputation world-wide, we plan to accelerate the growth of sales by launching an aggressive sales campaign in the USA. The USA is the world leader in litigation, it is a large market and there are many entrepreneurs who we feel will be keen to exploit the growing market for floor management.

The BIG DOMINO…
We see the USA as the Big Domino. If the USA adopts SlipAlert as a necessary part of building safety and practice floor testing becomes the norm in the USA, then we believe the world will follow.

The US market leads the world in litigation and so we feel that cracking the US market quickly is a key part of our global strategy.

Big USA launch... preventing 5000 serious accidents per week!
There are 50,000 serious accidents each week in the USA. Over a third of those are cause by slips and over a third of those are preventable.

THE MARKET RESEARCH PROJECT
We’d like a partner who will conduct a thorough piece of market research that will help us to launch a sales campaign in the USA. We plan to visit the USA to meet with potential customers, suppliers and partners that result from this piece of work.

We’d like as a result of this work to have a detailed market entry strategy and to know enough about the US market to move ahead with confidence.

Our selection of provider will be based on a level of confidence in the ability of the provider and in our confidence that we will enjoy working with them to bring SlipAlert successfully to the USA.
