Dispute with the head landlord over charges applied to my account for apparrent late payment of ground rent over last few years. Dispute was first raised in April 2011 and they were written to again in February 2012 but they have just ignored the letters.
My argument is that they were provided with a correspondence address but have failed to issue any Notices to Pay Rent to that correspondence address. Also the property is owned by my limited company so the correspondence address is also the registered office address of the company yet the landlord and their agent have failed to issue any statutory notices to this address eventhough (I believe) this is a requirement of the Companies Act 2006.
They have also lost a cheque that was sent to them and have refused to remove the additional charges levied due to non payment eventhough the cheque was sent to them.
Copies of my correspondence with them will be provided to the winning bidder.
