My employee was sign off for twice for 1 week (2 weeks in total) with diagnosis "nausea". She was 9 weeks pregnant. She told me that her doctor diagnose an urine infection and prescribed her Amoxicillin 50 mg and refer after 1 week for a blood text, infection was cleared. Employee disagree with heath and safety and declined to perform part of her day- to-day activities stated that her doctor restricted to perform 1 h massages and laser hair removal. I requested a letter from a doctor. Next working day she bring me "stress at work". She declined to undergo independant medical examination, Fit-to-work referal and HMRC. She send me 4 months off doctor certificates with "stress at work". GP did not specify illness, stated that employee is "stresses". After I declined to pay SSP as I was not able to confirm "stress at work" and she declined any medical investigation. She resigned and bring to the court for discrimination, unfair dismissal ext.
I need a help with medical request about how her GP treated her: what nice guidance to use, did GP follow long term ill patient correctly?? I do not have this information but need to know what to request from tribunal.
