Experience Level: Intermediate
A stockbroker purchased a USA listed share for me and registered the share in Nominee Account name. The share certificate which I now have in my possession is for 20,000 shares which at the time when they were trading in the USA were $5.60 per share. I think that I have a serious negligence claim against the Broker for not taking good care of my interests and being negligent in sending me this certificate which shows ownership in their name instead of mine. This action was taken subsequent to the firm deciding not to act as Brokers for \"smaller clients\"

It would appear that the USA listed company no longer trades in the USA stock Exchange and that my holding in the company may now be worthless.
