Experience Level: Intermediate
Experienced solicitor required to provide comprehensive training to existing personal injury solicitors in respect of bringing Industrial deafness claims against defendant employers.
Must provide training on a practical and theoretical level, adequate for solicitors to 'hit the ground running' as follows;
Training on substantive statutory and case law for noise induced hearing loss claims
Taking initial instructions
Identifying defendants and insurers
Determining limitation
Assessing liability and dealing with insurer arguments
Understanding audiometry reports
Making applications for preaction disclosure
Dealing with apportionment of damages
Avoiding common errors and settling problem files
Assessing quantum
Drafting court pleadings
Also provide template letters and court pleadings.
May complete training midweek, weekends or evenings.
Expected to take 5-10 days.
