I need to get money back from Currys-PC World

Description of legal work: Hi everybody,

I am looking for somebody with experience in dealing with complaints with big companies.

I have a problem with Currys-PC World. I bought a laptop from them (online). The laptop happened to be faulty. I called the customer support and they offered to arrange a collection to pick it up and issue a refund.

On date X they indeed sent a DPD courier to pick up the laptop. I handed the box to the DPD driver and signed in his handheld computer. He refused to give me any receipt.

Now it has been more than three weeks since then. PC Word say the laptop is lost in transit and they refuse to issue the refund. I wrote a few letters to them, but haven't had any success. I also wrote to DPD but haven't yet received any reply.

So I am looking for somebody who could help me get my money back from PC World. You can do it through variety of ways - help me file cases to court, police, write more angry letters to the head office, call the boss of PC World.
Extra notes: I would like to pay for the result. However I can also pay for you time and expenses. Please contact me and I am sure we can find some mutually beneficial agreement.
