Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Manchester City Council owes me £18000+ but is disputing to pay.
I want an Experienced Lawyer to work for me on Reasonable & Fixed Fees.
Few years ago, Manchester City Council (MCC) made me offer of £18000 to buy my ‘Indian Food Takeaway’ Shop in Manchester. This offer was accepted by me.
The process to transfer money to my account was ongoing but my landlord lied to MCC that I owe him money toward the rent so he has forfeited my lease for non payment of few months rent.
On these bases MCC stopped my payment.
To save time from taking landlord to the courts to prove my paid rent, We offered some money to landlord without prejudice base and he got agree to re-activate my lease again.
(NOTE: I believe he didn't follow legal procedure to forfeit the lease)
My solicitor told to MCC this latest situation that landlord is agreeing to re-activate the lease and his objection has been resolved without prejudice offer. So tell us what should we do to get released our £18000 from you.
MCC said to my solicitor that go to court and get this order from court that lease is activated.
MCC didn’t ask my solicitor to call them in court hearing too, also there was no need for MCC to attend court because it was between me and landlord about our lease.
Landlord was agreed so my solicitor got order from court that lease is active now.
MCC doesn't accept this order and refused my agreed payment.
Also please give me Fixed Price quote including paperwork and representation in court if needed until MCC issue me cleared cheque.
