Description of support work: I have a house in the UK with a Netgear R8000 running an Open VPN server. I also have a Dyndns address setup for the router.
I live most of the year in overseas and want a reliable way to access my UK internet connection from here. I currently have a Linksys router flashed with Ddwrt running a custom script from Streamvia VPN and it's massively unstable (manly due to the fact the Linksys router has a know flash memory issue with Ddwrt) I'm looking to bin this router and buy another R8000 /R8500 or R9000.
I can access my home router from my iMac overseas using Tunnelblick very reliably using the opvn setup files downloaded directly from my UK router. The problem is it doesn't give any manual setup instructions for configuring a DDwrt router as a client.
Ultimately I'd like to be able to ditch my Streamvia paid VPN and have my new (whatever I buy) DDwrt overseas router connect direct to my UK Open VPN Sever. Thereby sharing my UK internet connection to all my devices both wired and wireless here overseas.
I guess essentially I just need you to tell be the exact settings for the Ddwrt open vpn client setup and what to put in the various key and certificate boxes. There may also be a small amount of Port Forwarding guidance required due to my setup overseas.
Is this an area you can help me with?

I did something similar about a year ago for a client and I think I would be able to finish this task as well. I just have a few questions, have you already bought the router, if yes what is the kind of time frame in your mind?
Looking forward to working with you!
