Measuring the Measure
Hi There.
My name is David and I’m looking for an experienced excel user (wizard, maestro, guru, master) that can turn raw data, into meaningful graphs and drill down metrics to aid with a massive building project for over 240 residents.
The Job
A prestigious development in Central London is undergoing a 2-4 year period of construction that will also involve internal and externals works.
The different phases will need to be tracked (graphs) for a better understanding of how the works impact residents, with plans to make disturbances less disruptive in the future.
The process is being captured via excel, although some base data is available, it’s not being utilised to its full potential.
This is not an exhaustive list of graph outputs, as the level of information would need to grow as the project evolves however, this description should give a flavor of the information required for the project:
Time taken by contractors to complete works
Average time taken to complete works based on levels (levels are a pre-arranged criteria requirement)
Time taken to complete works based on property size
Percentage of works competed by the development as a whole.
Based on levels (there are 6 different levels of works that are currently being used).
Works completed per block
Works completed per block based on the different levels
Works completed per floor in each block
Works completed per floor by contractors
Works completed by contractors per site
Popularity by contractors
Outstanding works expressed as a percentage as a whole
Outstanding works expressed as a percentage per block
Outstanding works expressed as a percentage per floor
Outstanding works expressed as a percentage based on property size
The number of properties per sizes that still have to undertake the works
The number of properties per sizes per floors that still have to undertake the works.
I hope this (along with the attachment) provides some enough insight into what we’re trying to achieve? The time frame for delivery can be discussed and confirmed once the chosen freelancer is aware of the total scope of works.
