Please see the attached workbook, which attempts to create a template for a daily site record.
The idea is to create a parent folder for each supervisor's sites using the 'Cover' tab - this needs to be part of another workbook which should summarise the child workbooks (records). The root path is currently hardcoded as you'll see, but this will need a relative path depending on where the folder will be saved.
The 'Inputs' tab should be used to select/ input the applicable fields to populate the 'Record' tab, using the data validation fields in the 'Options' tab.
You'll see that we also need a section to add photos, where I've attempted to auto-size the photos to fit the available space.
This could be improved upon by adding a better method, perhaps drag and drop into a drop zone (if possible) or by auto-detecting if the parent folder contains any photos. The order of these photos isn't critical, but it would be helpful if the photos could be ordered as the user wants them. Photo captions/ labels would also be helpful.
PPH won't allow me to upload photos as they will exceed the upload limit, but these photos should sit within the parent folder of the record.
The 'Generate PDF' button on the top right corner of the 'Record' tab will save the named PDF into the parent folder.
Any blank spaces/ rows in the workbook will need to be ignored in the PDF version.
I hope this all makes sense - feel free to ask any questions for clarification.
