I'm trying to solve various outcomes for a football match to show the optimum amount that could be wagered across 16 different outcomes, to maximise return (as a percentage of the total wagered amount). The attachment shows the simple formula I've been using but at the moment I have to manually change the amounts in Column D. Is there a way Excel can simultaneously change the values in Column D to reach either the maximum possible percentage return shown in Column G or to hit a target return rate?
