We are a B2B start-up. We have migrated 11 months of accounts on Sage, which was being tested, but we still rely on Excel.

As MD I am keen we use cloud technologies so want to put this into Xero. Therefore We are seeking an efficient and effective Sage/Xero-proficient bookkeeper/specialist. Initially, this is project oriented, but for the right person could also be ongoing.

Immediately, we are looking for someone to:

1.) Review where we are with Sage
2.) Migrate to a new Xero setup
3.) Make Xero fully ready for ongoing day-to-day use, including loading transactions for current VAT quarter, banking, and advising/devising processes and systems for effective usage.

The volume of transaction is small (say 10 invoices a month).

We are happy to work out of normal business hours if you are in a full time day job. With your application, please evidence your Sage and Xero capabilities and suitability for this requirement, along with providing details of your wider experience, rates, availability and working arrangements.

We do want the initial meetings to be face to face. Once we are setup you could help us remotely.

Please note We have a firm of accountants who provide us with good payroll, VAT and Tax. But as we are planning to grow we need to be in control of our own day to day financial management - so your role is to help us get setup and then be our practical advisers
