We are an IT company based in Shoreditch, currently looking for a bookkeeper to join our team. Ideal candidate would be from London and able to come into the office once a month. The majority of the work is done remotely.
Skills:
The ideal candidate must be / have:
Detail-oriented, analytical, organised, good planner, friendly with at least one year experience within the field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook
• Very good knowledge and understanding of accountancy
• Have exceptional oral and verbal written communication
• Cope well under pressure and in a fast pace environment
The day to day duties for this role include but are not limited to:
• Scanning and saving invoices and saving them into relevant folders
• Using correct file naming convention for company files
• Entering purchase invoices and sales invoices onto the company’s records
• Keeping track on due and overdue Customer invoices and communicate with customers when necessary
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns for approval
• Organizing and managing the companies finance folders
• Enter & organize staff expenses, create excel sheets, save them into relevant folders
• General Ad Hoc duties and regular communication an reporting to supervisors
