Are you looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting a temporary bookkeeper to join our fast-moving, successful company at their head office in Rochester, Kent. This assignment has an immediate start and is for a 2 - 3 month period.

Key responsibilities:
- Produce accurate monthly P&L’s and balance sheets as well as recommendations within 10 days of the month’s end
- Maintaining bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Tracking and invoicing
- Maintaining both cash and petty cash books
- Invoice checking and general filing
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Payment of invoices
- Supporting the management team with ad hoc financial analysis
- Liaising with the Company’s accountants, bankers, advisors and the authorities
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of book keeping experience
- IT literate
- Good communication skills
- Ability to own off own accord
- Be highly organised with a keen eye for detail
- A good understanding of the accounts process
- Experience of P&L down to a book keeping level
- Previous experience with Sage Line 50
- Possess the ability to raise concerns to the UK Manager, Global Manager or CEO as and when required
- Understanding of VAT procedures
