Hi there,

I own a small IT Training company (that also offers training room hire), own four properties that I rent out per room and am also working 9-5 as a contractor in the city. I'm pretty busy.

I'm looking for someone that is able to help me with some of my admin. A lot of it will be done in MS Word for things like formatting and creating course outlines, or rearranging some of our training manuals, and some of the work would be in FrontPage or any similar web design application for our online course outlines.

I'm after someone who is available during the day - ideally someone who can commit to around 3-4 hours a day and can also react fairly quickly if there is something I need fairly urgently.

I need someone who doesn't get offended easily (I have a habit of putting my foot in it when I'm especially busy!), who is reliable, can print and also post things, and who is up for a challenge.

I often need research done, for example, are other companies running a course like X and if so, how long are their courses, what price, and what else is included... etc.

I also often need to do searches to find what course advertising companies out there get the best exposure... So if someone does a search for an Excel course, what companies are on the first page. And if they are a company like "course monster" or "Emagister" then I'd be interested in getting our courses up on their site too... This would be something you would maintain.

We've changed company name and branding so there is a lot of reformatting that needs to be done to change course outlines over to the new brand. Manuals need reformatting too.

I often find course outlines on the internet that I would like to start offering to clients. So I would typically send a URL to my administrator and ask them to create an outline for it. That would be a Word document, as well as a website outline.

I also need someone who can create tenancy contracts (copying a previous one and simply updating with a new tenants information, etc), as well as a type of check in document for them that shows photographs of the state of the room when they moved in. They have to sign this document along with their lease before they move in. I have someon that takes the photos, but I would need someone to finalise the layout of these pictures in a Word document, and also do some research to see how other companies do it.

There are quite a few different things that I need doing, but all in good time. I want someone who is likes a varied type of role, and who can work from home. You will also need to be able to balance doing a good job with doing something fairly quickly. :-)

I would prefer someone who is self-employed and is not VAT registered.
