Description

Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day
I run a freelance transcription business and have a digitally recorded group interview to type.

You are bidding on one 180-minute mp3 file, a group interview with speaker ID. Deadline is within 24 hours of receipt of file, no later than Wednesday 18 September at 1pm.

Successful applicant will need to have experience in digital audio transcription, can type a minimum of 65 wpm, have their own high speed internet connection, and their own transcription software and foot pedal. The successful candidate/s must be able to pay close attention to detail, and communication is a must (e.g. confirm successful download of digital file, ask for clarification if required), and be able to meet the deadline. If the work standard is good, further work may follow.

Please note that successful applicants will be given a link to download the original video file. Speaker ID is required for this project, and you will be required to send across the first 5 minutes of transcription so that quality and accuracy can be checked before proceeding.

Pay is £0.45 per audio minute.

Candidates must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement, and submit the completed file on a MS Word template within 24 hours of receiving file link. Link to digital file, transcription guidelines & template will be provided.

Please also note that deposit amount must be less than the total amount payable for the job (e.g. less than £20). Also, if you are able to complete half the file, the assignment can be halved (e.g. 90 minutes).

Finally, if the deadline is met and work is done to an excellent standard, there will be a bonus of £0.10/audio minute.

Good luck with your bid!
