Avaya IP Office 500 - Forward calls to Mobile Number

We have an Avaya IP Office 500 System using a SIP for VOIP calls. We've tried to set-up a Forward to Mobiles on the incoming Hunt Groups which in principal works. When dialling from an internal CLI the call connects and works as it should. However when dialling from an external CLI, the call connects but there is no audio, and the call terminates after 10 seconds. It would seem the handshake on the forwarded call isn't taking place.
If anyone has any Avaya IP Office experience and can assist it would be gratefully received
