Experience Level: Intermediate
I am conducting telephone interviews with very senior construction/engineering business people in Spain. These people have an existing relationship with my client and have agreed to take part in an interview and are expecting a call.

I need you to call these people (in some cases you will get through to their PA) and schedule an appointment for me to carry out the interview. I currently have 50 names for you to call.

This is home based work.

You need reliable phone system, perhaps headset, reliable internet etc.

You MUST speak Spanish.

The primary role is to secure the appointment. I repeat these people have agreed to be on board hence this is NOT cold calling.

If you have difficulty in achieving this I need feedback as to the reason(s) why. For example - is the person on holiday, are they playing hard to get, is the number wrong - whatever - I need to know. And this is the reason why I need you to be able to communicate effectively in Spanish.

Which leads on to a secondary role with the opportunity to make more money. In the event the person does not speak English or does not feel happy conducting the interview in English then I will require You to conduct the interview. The interview is scripted and exists online. It consists of open and closed questions. You may either complete online as you go or use pen & paper and type up after the event. The interview itself lasts approx 30 minutes plus perhaps 15 minutes to tidy everything up on screen. For the sake of a billable rate lets round up the time and call the interview a 1 hour to (easily) complete job.

If conducting an interview you need to understand open questioning and be able to accurately record an interviewee's feelings. We are not trying to coax a specific answer from someone but by your listening skills you allow the interviewee to open up a bit and say what they really feel about their experience with my client and not just give you a corporate line.

You will need a reliable phone system. I prefer you to use a landline - I know Skype works fine but I guess I'm just old fashioned like that. I will provide a "cheap rate" number (if you are UK based using a BT landline) to dial Spain for low cost: £0.13p connection charge and £0.05p per minute. Please factor this in to your bids however be aware your interview making calls should not see you on the phone for any longer than 5 minutes. If you end up interviewing, the interview should not see you on the phone for any longer than 45 minutes.

To summarise I need you to call 50 names and make an appointment for me to call them and conduct a telephone interview. I will pay for every name you can make contact with and provide an appointment time or feedback as to why not. If necessary (due to language barrier) then you will conduct the interview yourself at a time to suit all.

Please bid per name. Eg £x.xx for every name you can provide me some kind of feedback - ideally an interview. Do not bid for the whole job. This is because the number of names (currently 50) could increase or decrease over the next few days.

Secondly please bid an "interview rate" for any any interview you may carry out - I'm sure there will be a few. Remember its 1 interview per hour and factor in the call charges as outlined above.

Finally I expect you to be professional and courteous at all times - we are representing my client. There are no trade secrets being discussed here but discretion and respect are the order of the day please.
