Description
Experience Level: Expert
Symmons Madge is a training firm who has provided high quality training and development guidance since 1990. Our client list covers the whole spectrum of organisations in business, commerce, local and national government. The roots of the business are in the construction field as both partners are Chartered Civil Engineers.
Over the years we have also provided health and social care courses to both the public and private sector on a small scale. However, recently the demand for more training has increased and therefore we decided to set up a separate health and social care department. With this increase in demand for courses we are looking to appoint additional tutors/consultants who can provide training in this area.
Below is a list of just some of the courses we are looking for additional tutors:
* Alzheimers Awareness
* An Introduction to Safeguarding Children
* Automated External Defibrillation
* Basic Counselling
* Care Planning
* Care Planning and Service User Risk Assessment
* Caring for People Living with Dementia
* Challenging Aspects within Mental Health
* Conflict Management
* Control of Infection
* Death & Dying
* Decision Making and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
* Drug Awareness
* Epilepsy Awareness
* First Aid for Appointed Persons
* Food Hygiene
* Health & Safety
* Health and Safety in Care Settings
* Introduction to Diabetes
* Introduction to Mental Health
* Management Skills and Supervision in Care Settings
* Managing Aggression and Violence
* Mental Capacity Act Awareness
* Prevention of Abuse
* Manual Handling
* Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA)
* Record Keeping
* Rights, Equality & Confidentiality
* Safe Administration of Medication
* Tackling Discrimination
* Understanding Aspergers Syndrome
* Working Together to Safeguard Children
* Working with People with Multiple Disabilities
* Workplace Risk Assessments for Health and Social Care Settings
We would also be interested to hear from tutors who can provide other courses in the Health & Social Care area that may not be listed above.
