Experience Level: Entry
PA to Financial Advisor (must be UK based - preferably Dorset or nearby)
Remote working facilitated by paperless office and client support - Initial job spec (to be developed as required)
1) Pipeline
a. Monitor and assist with development of opportunities by tracking and scheduling next stage developments
2) Diary
a. Manage diary to support client servicing and business development
3) Suitability letters (SL)
a. Draft SLs from confidential financial review (CFR) notes and pipeline development(Work with advisor to get used to what is required, with a view to doing most of this for advisor’s input and sign off)
i. Areas of advice
1. Investment
2. Pensions
3. Long Term Care - Including presale reports
4. Protection
4) SWIFT (Business submission and record keeping software)
a. Maintain CFRs from meeting notes on Outlook
b. Attach copies of all correspondence to client record
c. Create submission sets
d. Submit to business assurance for presale review
e. Deal with any enquiries from Business Assurance
5) Marketing
a. Newsletters
b. Email weekly newsletters
c. Birthday cards etc.
6) Events
a. Seminars etc
i. Arrange venue, catering etc
1. + equipment etc
ii. Coordinate lists of delegates
iii. Arrange and manage publicity
1. Invites
2. Posters
3. Delegate information packs
iv. Attend event to assist with greeting, collection of competition entries and feedback forms and generally help with the smooth running

1) Daily telephone call or email to update work in progress
2) Assignment and follow up of tasks using Outlook
3) Maintenance of client records using Outlook Business Contact Manager
4) Looking for ways to improve the way we work and implementing new systems
