Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Through remote desktop (remote desktop onto to my laptop and onto the server) I want an engineer to get the email service up and running again including:
1. Correct setup of send and receive connectors
2. Set up exchange server to send and receive email
3. Set up server to allow sending emails from asp.net webpage (offsite and within server domain)
4. Set up OWA to send and receive emails
5. Check firewall settings & permissions for correct email functionality
6. Test to make sure all is working correctly
This email server has been working perfectly before but has now failed since I removed Eset’s (month trial) mail anti-virus program.
As this is a domain with only one user (that’s me) you can restart the server / domain controller at any time!
Currently, I am unable to initialize the Microsoft Exchange On-Premises within the Exchange Management Console.
The willing candidate must be fully qualified in active directory, domain controller, exchange server 2010 (especially Exchange Management Console) within the Windows 2008 R2 Environment.
The first person to prove to me that they are fully qualified will be commissioned.
VERY IMPORTANT
a) Please tell me how long you estimate the work will take. If you do not, I will presume that you didn’t read all this email and I will disregard your quotation.
b) Must be able to do this UK time evening or weekends
Thanks
Darren
Ps: I am about to embark on a project that requires an off-site in-house technician to look after all technical issues within the domain. If I am satisfied with this job, I will seriously consider you for all future technical work.
