I would like to enquire as to whether you could do the below job, approximate cost and timescale .
Require an excel database created with the following columns.
All of the information is to be taken from booking forms. I have attached a some examples to give you an idea.
Booking forms have been completed in handwriting. They have been scanned in as pdf’s. There roughly around 1000 forms. There are some other documents (some invoices, receipts, hand written note sheets, others, that are amongst the scans – these are just to be ignored).
All information is confidential! Which I am sure you already know, but just in case.
The information for the columns is explained below.
Client: This will be a name in format of Surname, First name( e.g. Porter, Caroline) or an organisation/group name (e.g. Newcastle Brownies). If there is more than one name present please just enter the first name.
Client Address: To be from address section on form (near the top of form).
Event Type: This is to be the event type. It will either be a Birthday Party or a Workshop. The form will indicate from its wording whether it is a Birthday Party or a Workshop.
Event Date: To be recorded in format example 15 April 2008, if possible. Will be recorded on the booking form as either Date of Party, Date Workshop Required.
Venue : This is the venue address. It may be the same as the client address. Will be recorded on form as either Party Venue ( if not completed then this is the same as Client Address) or Required Workshop Venue ( again of not completed this is the same as Client Address)
If the information you need from form is not clear to you, please just leave out the bit not clear. If information is incomplete, for example an address, just enter what information available on the form.
