Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
Estimated duration: 3 months trial period - long-term for right candidate
Help the founder and his small, friendly team offer continued excellent customer service to users of this leading theatre industry related website.
There are many small daily admin tasks needing to be delegated to the right candidate which will allow the owner of the business time for other responsibilities.
This position would most suit someone who has an interest in theatre and/or the arts. We are a small and friendly team and our little start-up is growing faster than we can manage with the current staffing levels.
We would ideally like to work with a North London-based, motivated, reliable, experienced and friendly person who is willing to learn new skills, take on new challenges as well as turn up and deliver consistent customer service and administrative support.
After the initial training period which needs to be in person in North London, the role is no longer on-site and the successful applicant can work remotely with occasional office days for additional training and support.
THE ROLE:
The admin and support tasks include:
Answering customer queries by email using the Freshdesk portal.
Data entry
Basic updating of website
Sending emails to users to help them better understand the site.
Testing
Calling customers to explain how to use the site.
Answering calls from customers.
We need regular and reliable assistance for four hours per day between the hours of 1pm and 5pm, Mon-Fri (These hours could increase in time.)
During this time you will:
Work through a daily checklist of tasks
Check and respond to customer emails
Update contact information on the website's admin portal
Check for problems with bookings or listings
General administration tasks
Responding to social media comments or questions
Answer customer service phone calls (re-directed to your phone)
Call customers who need further support.
All our machines are MAC and although the work is remote, we can offer more technical support to applicants who own and use a MAC than those who use a PC. If you are completely comfortable with using your PC, this shouldn't be an issue.
TRAINING:
The successful applicant will be required to attend three consecutive morning’s training in person at a Central London location.
These three days would be the first days of the job and are required to get the freelancer up-to-speed on the systems and processes before they can work independently.
The freelancer may then need to attend in person for one morning per week for the following four weeks. If further training is required beyond that, it will most likely take place via skype/hangouts.
This is a temporary position but there is an opportunity for the position to be permanent for the right candidate.
We require the successful applicant to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement in order to protect the privacy of our users.
Hourly rate: £10 ph
You would report directly to the founder and his wife.
Applications via PPH only please.
