Experience Level: Intermediate
We are seeking Swedish speaking linguists with experience in tourism to join our 24/7 Travel Assistance department, which provides multilingual support for international travellers.

We have a team in Europe who provides day time cover, we are looking for people based in for example Australia or the US in order to help us provide 24/7 cover for a Swedish customer.

This is a role where you’ll need to think on your feet and demonstrate good judgement and initiative. You will learn how to provide exemplary customer service under pressure and you’ll rapidly develop skills that will prepare you for career opportunities in supervisory and managerial roles.

Primary Activities
Transport order processing and job assignment
Answer incoming calls and messages from operators and passengers
Evaluate and prioritise incidents against risk factors
Follow predefined travel assistance procedures
Complaint handling and incident follow-up
Regular training and coaching sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and latest policies and procedures
Other tasks including market research, translations and social media management.

At least one year of experience working in customer service within the tourism sector
Ability to analyse and assess unexpected situations
Ability to think logically, find practical solutions and take decisions
Excellent command of both English and Swedish
Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage
Friendly, patient, empathetic customer-oriented attitude
Ability to learn quickly and ‘think on your feet’
Proven professional telephone and written communication skills
Excellent computer & internet skills
