[show his computer screen with emails/IMs asking for reports] After copying the data into an excel he opens calculator and performs some calculation/ [show his computer screen with MORE emails/IMs asking for report, show him in panic state] show him updating the excel using calculator's data after that he does some data filtering and colors some cell in Excel. finally he finishes and sends the reports. Show him as extremely tired. Now he looks at the watch[Show the time on watch again, the difference in prior time and current time should be 4 hours] now show him frustrated and show him thinking that he has wasted 4 hours in just creating reports. I run a medium size publishing house, who runs various monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly print magazines, along with their associated digital propositions and bi-annual events in our sectors. We produce and design our own content, and manage our own print and mailing. We are looking to engage with a regular freelance graphic designer to design one or two of our print publications a month, and also some digital design in the form of HTML emails and website adverts as required. Typically, publication size is 52 page, with 35-40 pages requiring design. This is a mix of design fixed templated layouts, and freestyle design but in keeping with the house style. Some advert placing is also required, as well as managing the proofing and corrections and sending the publication to our printers via our online system. Do you have experience in magazine design and a graphic design qualification? What would your rate be for an ongoing monthly project such as this? Hi Sarah Do you remember when we were doing the PPT presentation template piece of work i also enquired with you about producing an IMS Report template. We need to get this sorted now really. Here is a link to the old version we have which doesnt work well. https://www.dropbox.com/s/bt8iguzw55dskd4/Report_IMS%20%281%29.dotx?dl=0 What we need is a Report template with: Logo on every page (large on front page, smaller in header on other pages) Footer on every page (as it is in the current report template is fine) Headings set up so that people can use H1,H2 etc and its all designed using our branding Tables and charts set up so they use our colour scheme etc Templated table page Templated infographic page (a bit like what we did in the PPT template) Templated 'costings' page (a talbe where we add costs for a project Templated staff page where we can drop in pictures and staff descriptons Templated about us page where i can provide you with some standard text and client logos to inclide Templated contact us page Front cover with logo and templated space for date, 'report', report title, author title Contents page And needless to say we want it to look great and utilise our branding well so that when we create a report and PDF it it looks stylish and professional. Perhaps get a bit of colour in there on some of the standard pages etc front cover, about us page, staff page etc. You asked me some questions when we briefly discussed this work last time so ive answered them below. If you could get me a quote based on all this info thatd be great. Thanks Roxy - I assume the new template would need to use Verdana as the main font (like the Powerpoint), as this is for internal use? Yes please - What info is needed in the footer area? Same as existing template - Does the logo still need to remain at the top of each page? Yes - How many different types of pages do you need? As above - What are the main issues you've had with it? (then I'll know what kind of things to avoid!) The table of contents is badly set up so when you actually put some content in the document it comes up in weird big and small fonts and doesnt sit properly on the lines. The H1-H5 design options sometimes go a bit weird and so you cant format text properly. Generally its not much of a template as it doesnt provide many pre designed elements to use - its just the right font and colours and thats about it! If you could get back to me on the above, I'll be able to give you a cost :)

We are looking for someone who can initially transform a slightly bland 23 page document describing an investment opportunity (uploaded) into a polished looking Information Memorandum (IM). This would include redoing a ~3 diagrams so they look homogenized. This would be a fixed price job, starting now. Going forward there are likely to be further IMs for other companies, as well as subscription bundles and other documents. Freelancers should be based in the UK.
