Mechanical engineering edits to existing model.
Add chain to 2x simple chain drives, sprockets already in place, just need to add the chain and the attachment links etc. Add a missing part to the model. This is a straightforward copy of an existing part with 2 small differences, so you can use existing bodies in the model to duplicate and create the new part. The model also needs certain linked constraints added so that we can demo the video showing the functionality. As you can see from the render its a pretty straightforward machine buy I do need someone skilled who can deliver. If you're also able to run some simple FEA analysis and calculations that would be a bonus.
Gearbox FEA
Scope of Work: 1. I will issue the 3D model of the complete assembled gearbox (solidworks format or step file). 2. Vendor to carry out FEA and determine the following o Check gear strength i.e. max allowable torque and HP o Check wear life i.e. report the allowable HP and service/operation hours o Bearings are already selected in our gearbox and vendor will specify if the bearing sizes are suitable based on bending moments and RPM o Check gearbox (fabricated) stress levels, highlight heat spots, displacements, stress etc. o Vendor to advice what changes can be made to the complete gearbox to bring the weight and cost down 3. Following the findings from step 2, I will revise the gearbox design and the vendor shall re-analyse the gearbox along the same parameters as point 2 above.

C-Shaped Leaf Spring Analysis
I am in the process of designing an oblated C shaped leaf spring for a 3D project and need to get some spring force calculations done either as a simple spreadsheet model or using FEA if it is warranted. This is to enable material selection which is nominally to use a 0.3mm thick spring stainless steel material. The spring has a cutout through the bend in the C Shape making things a little more complicated but it is still a simple compression style leaf spring. Once the range of forces and materials is understood a few iterations of the 3D CAD maybe require re-calculating the forces. I am looking to understand the compressive forces between the Spring's Jaw feature (marked) and the opposing flat spring leg. In practice the in its relaxed (compressed state) the jaw will come to rest on a 1.2mm thick component that will be inserted under the jaw and it is the force exerted on this that i want to understand. A full Fusion360 3D model is available should FEA be worth performing on such a simple part. An NDA will be required.
