We are a start-up consultancy founded in 2017, as a response to the persistent challenges and discrimination faced by racialised children across the services and support systems they rely on. We collaborate with decision-makers and stakeholders, to tackle the complex equity and inclusion challenges they face. We are a dynamic and busy organisation, with 5 staff members, and a pool of associate consultants and trainers that support delivery of our work. WE NEED In addition to being a creative person and excellent communicator (written and verbal), someone that has very good multitasking and organisational skills. Your technical skills, proactive approach and knowledge of social media, communications and marketing are needed to help grow our online and offline presence, brand, following and impact and support the effective growth and operations of our company. We need someone that is a strategic social media and marketing professional, with knowledge, understanding and experience of communications and marketing for a social justice-focused organisation and/or mission. A substantial proportion of our work focuses on racism, marginalisation and discrimination and as such personal experience and/or deep knowledge and understanding of these issues would be an advantage. THE PROJECT For 3 months initially (March 24 - May 24), to provide 5 hours of support a month to provide the following: - Develop, monitor and implement strategic Communications and Marketing Plan. - Design social media, marketing and comms tools for the team's use including platform posts, newsletter and templates. - Manage social media platforms activity, scheduling and engagement – Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram. - Lead on the design and publication of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content in collaboration with the team. - Contribute to development of a range of tools and templates such as case study, testimonial and referral to demonstrate the impact of our work. WasteAid is a UK based international charity (www.wasteaid.org). We support developing and middle income countries to set up waste management systems. We are looking for some thoughts and suggestions on finding a solution. Background As part of a charity, we offer free workshops, run by volunteers, to help people improve their lives. The organisations are run under different names, eg Perfect your Marriage, Wise Life Academy, Prophetic Path. After the workshop, we have many mentors in place to assist with free Q&A and aftercare by phone (WhatsApp), email or in person. The courses are managed from the UK and delivered in many different countries, USA, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Pakistan, the UK and many more. I would like some help setting up an awesome social media page for my review site. We've got a new review video channel, based around a comedy puppet character. Also have the start of a website. I'd like to use social media next to build my brand. I've set up the page, but there nothing on there as yet and I'd like help designing and setting it up in the right way for the start. We've already got the video content, the character, some graphics and photos, the general branding / colours / fonts etc. So I would like help pulling this all together on the screen, putting all the stuff in the right place, embedding videos and putting in a handful of posts, some additional graphics etc to pull it all together and a landing page of sorts. Basically make it look great and unique. All around a puppet who reviews stuff. I would also like some high level help to understand what I need to do in the future to keep the page up to date, load more content and make the appropriate changes and ensure that I'm using all the Girls page features that I should be.
