Metal Melting Induction Heater Using PCB Board(Firmware & Other)
Hi! I'm interested in building a customized Metal Melting Induction heater using Transformers and other electronic and electrical components. I'm looking forward to build a Metal Melting Furnace which will be electrical mainly for the purpose of melting and refining Gold , Platinum , Silver and Iron. I'm looking forward to work with someone who is expert in PCB Designing and deployment and most importantly who has enough patience to answer all my doubts and questions throughout the project. Someone who is well versed with electrical and electronic components , firmware , hardware and PCB Design will be best suited for the project. What I'm looking for: 1) A Metal Melting Furnace using PCB Board , various electrical and electronic components , firmware and hardware. 2) It should have feature of increasing and decreasing Temperature manually as per the requirement of melting point of different metals. 3) A ON/OFF Switch button , temperature indicator in Degree Celsius , increasing and decreasing temperature buttons to set the exact temperature and voltage indicator are must. 4) A "SET" Button. This button when Pressed will maintain the constant desired temperature. For example the melting point of Iron is 1800 Degree Celsius. Once the furnace reaches this point and this button should be pressed so that there is not drop or increase in temperature irrespective of external conditions or other conditions. 5) Maximum melting point to be reached is 2100 Degree Celsius. 6) It should be able to reach those temperatures within 10-15 minutes. 7) It should be compact , lightweight and can easily be moved from one place to other(although this is not a major requirement if we have to compromise on it's quality or design to achieve the same but I believe that something like this can be achieved considering the fact that we live in advance age) 8) It should be able to work with the help of capacitor batteries or any other Lithium Ion battery/Solar batteries or the batteries which are used in Trucks or any other external source of battery. 9) It should be able to take in 240V of electricity since in my country its the standard 3-pin socket output provided by the government. 10) It should be able to hold crucible for melting the metals. For reference I have included a few pictures of my idea of the design , you are welcome to share yours and guide me along the way pointing out any flaws or cons of the same , thereby suggesting something economical as well as good performer at the same time. 11) Most importantly incase there is some major voltage fluctuation during its operation , there should be some very strong safety measures built into it to avoid any major accidents. 12) The components used in the project should be economical(since wearing of components will occur over the course of time and hence very costly components need not be installed) easily available(although this is not a compulsory requirement if quality will be compromised) 13) You will have to design the entire circuit board , a board which is not sub-standard in quality but above a certain threshold of quality but at the same time which will be economical to produce. 14) Since it is a furnace its maximum weight holding capacity including the weight of the crucible should be 6Kgs. 15) It should also be able to work with lesser weight such as from 50 Grams. External design/look of the furnace can be worked out later once the design and testing is completed. 16) The Total weight of all the electrical components including PCB should not be more than 10Kgs. 17) A Graphite crucible will be used for holding the metals. 18) The project needs to be completed within 180 Days from the date of you joining the project. If you can check all the above 18 points , you are welcome to join the project. Minor adjustments can be made here and there but not all of the above 18 points can be compromised because otherwise it will defeat the very purpose of posting this project. Please note this is not for mass production or commercial use. Thank you.

Design High Power Circuit
Design a circuit that can take input pulses from a microcontroller (most likely arduino), and use that to create high current pulses. This will be the heart of an Arc generator for an Electric Discharge Machining machine. Also recommend specific components and create a circuit board file that I can send to a manufacturer for fabrication. I'd like it to include everything from the A/C input to the high power pulsed D/C output. I have specifications I will share. Basically I'm too cheap to pay someone 3k Euros for a pre built generator since I'm good with electronics. But I'm not THAT good, to be sure the circuit is stable & won't die 15 minutes after I turn it on. I may sell these in the future so I'd like to own the design. Also if you're good with reducing un necessary EMF that would help. This circuit will create a lot of EMF by design, so anything that can be done to make it do it's job and avoid any unintended EMF would make the entire project go smoother. It should put out about 30 volts DC pulses at up to 30 amps based on the input pulse voltage, and be able to survive a short circuit. There will be a separate circuit that will monitor voltage at the destination and stop input pulses upon a short, but they will happen from time to time, and the circuit should be able to endure this till the monitoring hardware stops sending pulses. I could write lots more about the machine itself, but this project is about just the pulse generator. I guess I'm writing this to let you know I'm a busy guy, and want this project done ASAP. I'm doing this on a medium budget, and I have very limited hands on time to work on the project. I will probably hire out more electronics related design. I need to integrate at least 4 different circuits off the top of my head, and do it in a high EMF environment, The more advice I can get the better, and the sooner I can get $ flowing in from this the sooner I can work less at my other job yada yada. Yup that's my ending hehe!

Current limiting - single power supply circuit
I need an electronics designer to produce a single power supply circuit for the purpose of limiting power. Scope of work Specify an NPN or PNP MOSFET driven current limiting circuit that limits current output from a DC powersupply (Battery pack). (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Current_limiting) Input/Output voltage varies from 42 to 60.5 V. Current limitation: Output current must not exceed 12.3 A at 60.5VDC and 17.6 A at 42 VDC for longer than 2 seconds (to handle transients). Deliverables 1. Schematic files ready for conversion to PCB design as well as PDF output 2. BOM with part numbers and sources - Active components must have at least two alternatives. Active components should be available in thru-hole as well as surface mount. 3. Analysis of power dissipation of active components and any power resistors for the purpose of mechanical design. Looking for one week turn-around from initiation to deliverables.

Logo Design
Hi, We are a small electronics and firmware (embedded software) design consultancy based in Rugby, UK. We have been offering our services for over three years but only recently set up a website. Please check www.rugbyconsultants.co.uk to get an idea about the services we offer. We need to get a logo designed to use it on our website, documents, business card, social media etc. As you can see from our website, the desired colours are black and red. We don't have any particular design in our mind hence open to your creativity but couple of points to highlight: 1. The logo should be compact like "RC", we don't want long format like "Rugby Consultants". 2. Gives an impression about electronics or PCB (printed circuit board), if possible. Feel free to ask question if you need any clarification. Regards, Atta
I need an electronic circuit design to control a 240volt AC fan motor
I have a 220watt centrifugal fan motor that is controlled by a PWM (Pulse WIdth Modulator). When the motor is connected directly to a 240volt AC power supply it runs at full speed. However when I connect it to a PWM the motor speed is greatly reduced even when the power controller is tuned full on. Added to this is the fact that the motor achieves this maximum when the controller potentiometer is only half-on, when I continue to 'turn-up' the power the motor speed does not increase any further. I think I need a 'bias' resistor of some sort to overcome this problem, with maybe a diode to stop any input from the power source feeding back into the output of the PWM. If someone could help me with a solution I would greatly appreciate it. Many thanks, Gary
Designing electric circuit
Hi, can you design an electric circuit and tell me what parts I need to make it work? It's a simple LED circuit, 4 LEDs, a clock and a motor, powered by batteries (potentially rechargeable) or from mains. More info available on request. I don't anticipate this taking any longer than 30 minutes for someone who has a background in electronics.

Electronic Circuit Design - Tandem Gate Manager
There is no category and subcategory for electronics. So I posted under design/other. Design Requirements 1. Circuit runs from DC voltage from 12vdc to 24vdc. Over voltage and improper wiring protection should be part of the circuit design. 2. Circuit has protection for shorts on power and improper input wiring. 3. Prefer through hole components. 4. Must provide source code. 5. Must provide circuit diagram and BOM. 6. Must use commonly sourced components. Final product is price sensitive, therefore components need to be commonly sourced and not overly exceed the circuit requirements. 7. Suggestion to use the ATtinyXX, such as the Adafruit Trinket, ATtiny13, or similar, as long as it meets the circuit requirements. 8. We must agree on process before work begins (processor, discrete components, etc). If this can be done with discrete components that is acceptable. 9. When designing the circuit and software keep in mind that this circuit will be placed in operation and stay there for many years without power cycling. This is a continuous operating system. Power loss is of course a possibility. 10. This text is to be used in conjunction with the attached flow diagram. Overview This circuit is intended to be used with mechanically motor driven doors. The trigger will be on inA via NO to NC input. inB is an indicator that the inside door is in the open position. outA and outB are used to trigger the motor into operation. outA and outB are dry contact triggers; they will not be controlling power to the motor or other. A button (inA) will be pushed for a customer to enter a facility through the front door. The circuit will look at the inside door (inB) to see if it is open. If the inside door is open then the circuit will unlock the doors (outA) and (outB) for 2 seconds. If the inside door is closed (inB) the circuit will open the inside door (outB) for 2 seconds. The circuit will than monitor the inside door to see if it is opened (inB). When the inside door is opened the circuit will unlock the front door (outA) for 2 seconds. As long as the front door button (inA) is pressed both doors will receive an open command (outA and outB). This will be used for when the doors need to be held open for moving, etc. This is not a normal request, meaning a push of the button (inA). This is an constant closure of the front door request button (inA). The project will be considered complete when all deliverables have been supplied and a 1 week time period has been allowed for testing by the project owner. If any issues arise during the testing period, an additional week is allowed for full testing after the remedy of the addressed issues. The 1 week of testing starts after all circuit components are able to be secured. Having an accurate BOM will reduce waiting time for components. ------------------------------- Considerations and Concerns 1. inA can be switched (NC) for long periods of time. With the intention that both doors (outA and outB) will be held open during this period of time. We need to determine a threshold for when inA is considered stuck. 2. Keep in mind that when inA is pressed for an extended period of time that inB will be active as soon as the inside door is opened. Both inA and inB can be active at the same time. inB can also be stuck (triggered for long periods), as in the case that the inside door is open all the time but the outside door is closed and needs to be requested. 3. There will be large portions of time (hours, days, weeks, months) where the circuit will receive no input. I am concerned that a processor will burn out over time just looping. Will using events or interrupts avoid this issue, or is this not of concern? Conversely there will be large portions of time where the circuit will receive hundreds of requests in a very short amount of time. 4. Using events or interrupts verses cyclical programming will impacts the coding please be prepared to explain which approach is best. 5. What happens when inA is pressed multiple times while we are waiting for the inside door (inB) to be opened? 6. Personal and property damage can occur if the circuit fails to work properly. Please consider this in your design. 7. This is an ego free project. If you are threatened by questions in order to gain an understanding of the project and your intentions, please do not submit a bid. If possible I would like to set a time frame of 60 days from start to finish on this project. If you feel this is too aggressive please discuss in your bid. I have posted a budget that I think is reasonable for someone who is skilled in this type of work. If you require more please discuss in your bid. There is a limit on the amount of characters allowed in the description of work. I have more details and will reply with them once I review your profile. Thank you.

Animated hi-tech product rendering video using Keyshot, LuxCoreRender etc.
I am looking for a highly skilled professional with extensive Keyshot or similar experience and design flair to produce some amazing product videos of our hi-tech electronics audio products. You will be given Keyshot still renders of the outside of the product and its component parts, but will need to add detail to internal parts such as components on the circuit board and speaker driver details (similar to the examples shown here). The product comprises a charging case and a pair of wireless earbuds. You will need to show the earbuds in the case and the case opening and then the earbuds coming out of it and the rest of the video will focus on details about one of the earbuds. The initial task is to produce a video to sell a new pair of wireless earphones with a video similar to this.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBJySyP4NZg (note this video is nothing to do with our company, it is just one that we have found on YouTube) Here are some other videos of a similar quality that inspire us:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eofU4SBFqPg Chord Hugo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34zEKRCv9V4 Oppo HA3 headphones https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTPDX8Uers8 Oppo UDP205 Length should be around 2 minutes. A much shorter edit approx 15 secs long is also required. A storyboard will be provided however I would like the chosen designer to use their own creativity to contribute and enhance to achieve the best possible result. I have no idea how much this will cost so have put USD400 down for starters. Maybe it costs more?! Maybe you are prepared to do it for less? Quality of the end result and design flair is more important than price to me. Please bid what you are prepared to do this job for to the quality shown here. Thanks! James
Small circuit design (and preferably built)
Industry: Technology Design details: Wanting a little circuit with small Peltier module - https://www.amazon.com/sunny988-TEC1-00705-Thermoelectric-Peltier-heatsinks/dp/B00DYPLGPG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1513708110&sr=8-5&keywords=peltier+10mm - Battery or batteries - three-position switch (heat, off, cool) - heat/cool are obviously just opposite polarities Would be nice if: - could attach multiple Peltier modules - switch would "center" (heat/cool for N seconds, then cut off) Ideas for the visual style: Not critical - will mostly be hidden Extra notes: This is incidental to a little project of my own, but I am no good with hardware or electronics.
IT consultancy company logo
Information for the business: A small IT consultancy specialising in delivering technology solutions to large companies (especially in banking) Industry: Technology Type of logo: Pictorial mark Brand name/slogan in logo: Westwinds IT Ideas for the visual style: Very open minded. However, the target audience for the logo are senior professionals (directors, managing directors) in large organisations. Things to avoid: Anything that looks too "childish" Where the design will be used: invoices, website, business cards, social media Extra notes: The main service of the consultancy is to provide senior consultants (otherwise know as project / programme managers) to run large teams of technology professionals to deliver new IT solutions. This could be to upgrade or supply a new set of laptops in an office and connect them to the cloud or deliver a completely new mobile banking solution for a large company. Basically, where there is a need for an experienced IT consultant to lead a team to deliver - Westwinds IT comes into play. As a concept, i need a logo incorporating "Westwinds IT" which is simple and hooked into tech. So when you think 'tech' this could be computers, mobiles, cloud, circuit boards, electronics, computer chips, anything like that. But the logo must not be too specific to one type of tech else i risk tying the business down to one market. Tying specifically into the "Westwinds" bit does not matter as this is just the name chosen for the consultancy. More important to have a professional and simply logo which links to tech without tying down to specific areas of technology. Also need to watch the use of lots colour as this can be expensive to print. I don't want it to just be constrained to black and white or greyscale. But just limited use of colour ideal. Would be great if you could show me a visual rough "knock up" showing where you are going before then supplying the final polished solution. I expect we may have to go through a few iterations to reach the final point. The target clients will most likely be based in the UK Thanks!
