Reference Letter by UK accountant to verify my director status
Hey, Im currently in need of assistance from a qualified and accredited UK accountant please. I have been a managing director of my company since 2018. I was actively trading in the business from 2018-2021. However after this, I stopped trading in the company, but kept the ltd company open. It is still open and currently dormant. However, I have now secured a full time job. They are using a reference/ verification agency called HireRight to verify all my details including my work/ employment history. I inputted my employment history and included details for running my own company. Now they are being quite difficult asking for the HR persons number (We do not have one, it is only me as managing director), then they asked for an employment contract. It's quite frustrating, because they can literally check my details very easily on companies house. After some back and fourth with them, they have agreed a letter from an accountant to verify ive "worked" for Digisee Ltd. So my request, is simply this: - A letterhead letter - By an accredited, verifiable and contactable accountant/ company - That states I am the managing director of X Ltd company - Between these dates actively trading 2018-2021 - 2021 -2024, the company has remained open, but has eventually become dormant That should be all that needs to be included. However 'just in case', Id like to ask for atleast 2 change requests, should HireRight say the initial letter does not suffice. Please note, i am currently awaiting an email confirmation from them confirming exactly what needs to be included in the letter. Furthermore, they may need to make a quick phone call to you, to verify you wrote the letter. I hope you can see that the job is relatively simple. 1st Reg Statement of Truth request from converyancer
We are requesting a court order for a statement of truth from the solicitor executor of our fathers estate, (MG) in relation to a piece of land that was part of the probate MG dealt with together with a second executor, Chris Wheatly (CW) accountant. Our father passed in 2007. The piece of unregistered land (connected to our Inheritance) has been claimed by a family member (RE) using Land Registry. We have in the past asked about the Deeds to this property but sight of them has not been granted (see attached correspondence with executors). 3/3/23 Our half brother (RE), applying for ownership with Land Registry has made a Statement of Truth (attached) saying that the Deeds were lost and that the original conveyance solicitor (MG) didn't have them. 9/3/23 Land registry made a requisition to DTM (RE’s acting solicitor). 14/4/23 MG wrote to us to say “no involvement” (correspondence attached). 15/3/23 New FR1 was electronically filed. 16/6/23 Land registry received correspondence to say that the deeds have been found by MG. 17/3/23 registration was granted. We have raised the query that MG had told us no involvement and then the next day a new FR1 filed electronically. After investigation Land Registry admitted due process was not followed as they did not receive a certified copy (correspondence available on request). They are now back peddling and writing to our half brothers solicitor, DTM requesting to see the original Deeds/conveyance documents). However they have stated it is beyond their jurisdiction to request a statement of truth from MG. Which is where we need your help. We question the authenticity of these documents that were found between a statement of truth submitted by RE (no longer true) and the requisition of a statement of truth from DTM which was no longer required. We also question, if the documents were suddenly found and Globe had them all along, why not just be honest and tell us when we asked him, that ‘yes he had the Deeds, they were in the name of..... and he passed them to Robert’. Why say no involvement if he had them all along. We received further unhelpful non committal communication from MG (attached). We have reason to question the authenticity of the documents submitted electronically listed in the time line attached. This includes electronic fraud for share transfer in our fathers business shares by RE and the other accountant executor (CW), discovered by an independent accountant and reported to the NCA. Merseyside police have also investigated the authenticity of our father’s will. We have written to MG to ask for clarity on his involvement? If it appears that they are not going to oblige, we would like an order for this Statement from MG. We hope that it is straightforward to simply get a court order requiring a statement of truth from our father’s (MG) solicitors to clarify 1. Whether or not they were the original conveyancer 2. Whether or not they provided Robert Evans with the original deeds or conveyancing documents in March 2023. 3. If the second point is affirmative, explain what happened (re lost and found) and.. 4. What was the title / name on the Deeds We are not looking to issue proceedings at this stage, we just want a statement of truth from our fathers solicitor; from Michael or David Globe themselves, not from their conveyancing manager.
