On 20 March 2024 at about 13:00, i came to our family business form home when i heard that an enforcement agent (bailiff) identified as the Enforcement Agent (the Enforcement Agent) from a company named Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd arrived at my family business located at xxxxxxxx, and was removing goods from the premises – CCTV will verify – saying he was enforcing a writ issued to xxxx of which i have no idea. The family business is xxxxxx – and having provided the evidence of the business including Premises Licence and Business Rates he requested, he made the decision to ignore it. He further began dismantling electronic equipment causing some damage – he just kept saying you can claim it back. He never showed me any documentation or the writ – just kept saying pay it now because the collection van is on its way. I felt threatened by him and had to ask my brother for some of the money so he would leave. We don’t owe this money and i have never been involved in xxxx the Enforcement Agent, representing BFS Group Limited (BFS) in the recovery of an outstanding High Court writ, never informed me of his purpose. Despite my request, the Enforcement Agent declined to provide evidence of his authorisation and identity, failing or present any documentation to support his claim that beach karma limited was part of xxxxx . He kept saying his clients told it was. I know now the agent to be g.brown@dcbtltd.com with a number 07976480369. I gathered this information when the agent sent me a receipt for the theft of £5000 On 20 March 2024 at about 14:30, the Enforcement Agent sent me a link to pay £5000 for a debt for xxxx – for which at first he would not issue a receipt – having insisted upon it gave me one dated 19 March. The agent then left very quickly leaving all the dismantled equipment. Fridges, Audio equipment, tills, in disarray forcing us to close the business for 4 hours losing business. The agent forced us to pay this knowing we had nothing to do with the writ and claiming he can do and go wherever he wants. He stole my money. I want to claim the money back and sue for damages - this agent has a history of doing things wrong and has been caught out before in court
