Hiring a freelancer 'can boost start-ups'

 Getting freelancers to pitch for work can be one of the ways that start-up companies can get "invaluable expertise" at "a reasonable cost" according to bytestart.co.uk.
According to the small business website, outsourcing can lead to a growth in business without breaking the bank, as employing people to do jobs that only take a short amount of time such as bookkeeping can mean the job will get done quicker and take up less of a small business owner's time doing work they are not completely sure of.
As well as jobs such as bookkeeping, larger work such as sales and marketing can be outsourced.
Although the website warns this can be risky, they advise that beginning with a small project and testing the water with a freelancer who only takes on a couple of clients is an easy way to see if it could work for you.
Hiring temp staff or freelancers might seem like a big step, but by testing the water gently, small business owners could find it to be the perfect solution to their problems.
