Need to create a URL passer which allows a user to enter a URL and this URL be crauled to create a product listing on our website. This will need to get the information from the page source as image/name/brand/description/price.
The two best options for the crauling of the URL would be to access the meta tags for the Facebook Open Graph (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/payments/product/) or alternativly the schema.org standard and extract the information on the page this is the one used by google rich snippet (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/146750?hl=en).
The ideal solution would be to use both methods and collate the information to produce the most acturate entry for any given page.
The data can then be displayed on the site
