Description of requirements/features: 1. We are having a christmas event. We need to sell tickets to this event. We will have 5 santa clauses in 5 cabins that can accommodate 10 people, time slots every 10 mins and a boat ride to the santa cabins, the boat can only take 36.
I have set-up a composite product for each time slot (e.g. 12.00am)with stock set to 5, with Adult Ticket product, Child Ticket product and Photo with santa product, within the composite product. Users can only purchase 5 of these 12.00am composite product timeslots, as there are only the five santa cabins, Great. But, i also need to limit, within that composite product purchase, the number of Adult and Child Products to 10, the number of people who can fit in the cabin..(you still with me), i’ve searched and tried loads of things but they do not work with composite products. That’s the first part, limit the number of available Adult and Child places to 10, the size of the santa cabin, but can be 9 adults and 1 child or vice versa.
Also, the boat ride for that timeslot can only take 36 passengers, so the total amount of Adult and Child products, for the five composite products - 12.00am timeslots - is limited to 36, but again 30 adults and 6 children or vice versa. You with me… So, for instance, we might sell just 3 of the 5 12.00am timeslots, with a total of 30 adult and child products and if someone tries to by a fourth timeslot for 7 or more people, they cannot, because they are exceeding the 36 max on Boat. I’m not the best at articulating things, but i hope you get the idea. i’m in no way stuck to using composite products to achieve this, but its one of the ways I have tried… By the way, there will be 2,409 timeslots over 33 days so a way that these products can be added by CSV or something would be great.
2. Also, we expect quite a lot of customers trying to add people to there order. We would love a way, people can log into there order and add people, respecting the two stock rules about the 10 people in the santa cabin and 36 on the boat.
