D. T. on 26/08/2010 12:07Hi Jason,
Are you sure your budget is £40-£70? I don't think you'll find anyone willing to do one site for 4 x that budget never mind four sites. I know you are a student but you seriously need to increase that budget OR seriously lower your expectations about the kind of site you want. I would do a one page static html site for £40-£70 if you were interested.
Thanks,
Dan
D. S. on 26/08/2010 12:19I believe we can help you within your budget but before that few basic questions:
1. Should we assume that you will provide all the graphics and contents?
2. What about hosting?? Assuming that this does not include hosting support...,
3. The typical process is like this...we bid, you accept and escrow the money, you provide complete requirements alongwith graphics and content, we create the website and upload on our server for review and approval by you, you approve and release escrow, we deliver all the code for the website (zipped) Does this work for you?
Do let us know before we bid.
warm regards
Dr. Pratul Sharma

E. S. on 28/08/2010 04:29Don't you think budget is too low for websites like this?

J. M. on 17/09/2010 10:29I know the budget isn't that high but its all I have. If the person did a good job he would also receive a bonus. Anyway I think I found someone. Thanks anyway
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
