Description
Experience Level: Expert
We require an experinced Graphic/Web page designer to design a page template for use in our site within and existing style framework.
This mini project will also include some design tweaks to our existing home page, to accomodate some addittional 'calls to action' and a 'news/editorial' navigation bar but without damaging the current aesthetic.
We need an individual with a subtle touch but capable of designing a page with impact. There is a fair amout of content to be rendered to each page, but it should not look overcrowded. (The site uses a limited pallet of muted but light colours)
The page is to be positioned between our current footer and header sections.
Ideally the whole page should not extend by more than 50% below the fold, and the advertising and internal promotional materials should remain above the fold.
It should be layed out to display general news items with associated images, topic navigation (which may include items such as 'Financial Planning', 'Health & Lifestyle', 'Consumer News','Family','Bereavement','Legal').
It should also include space for inhouse-promotional materials, 3rd party advertising in 2 or 3 locations, our own twitter/facebook feeds and a panel we can use for system status information.
The page should be designed with a cms driven system in mind, and the individual should be at least aware of the functional limitations of CSS and HTML5 driven web pages.
Please forward us examples of your work that are live on the web so we can see both the mocks and the live versions.
If we like the work you show us, we will provide images and screenshots of our application, and of course an open channel to us at all times.
We require an EXPERIENCED UK DESIGNER, who once recieving the brief can have a fully annotated mock back to us within 4 working days.
Please be aware, we require a top quality piece of work that fits seemlessly with the current sections of the site. Please anticipate your design requiring some retouching.
The right candidate will certainly win more work in the future.
