Oops, this system doesn't like quotes, anyway as I was saying...

1. What do you mean by [quote] upon presentation of the sales and marketing plan [unquote]

2. Is the £2K OTE per month what the programmer gets or what the site generates? If the latter what % does the programmer get and how long will commission be paid for (e.g.. one-off, or diminishing scale over, say, three months).

Dear Peter,
Hi,
1. I have an outline plan that can be emailed or we can speak and I can explain it in a nutshell and follow up with information required.
2. The 2K per month is what the developer would receive each month over the life time of the database which is envisaged to be on-going.
Please let me know if you have further questions or need further clarification.
Kind regards
Susie

Hi Susie, because of the nature of the way that this is going to work it is hard for a developer to bid for this project. I specialise in building database driven web sites, my business is Webography.co.uk and this sounds like a project I could get involved with.
Tony.

Hi Gopichand,
The site will have the usual home page, information about the company, contact page (not many pages just 4 possibly 5) and the a posting page where clients can log in and post information and have a 'home page'. It is envisaged there will be quite a few clients and so this part needs careful planning and to be linked to a databse. There would be a need to make payments online as well. Not totally sure what 'ecommerce' means as a buzz word as I am not that technical -I hope that answers your question please let me know if you need more information.
Kind regards
Susie

Hi Noha
We would need: -
- A Home page - info about what the site is
- Information page - more info about the company and how it works
- A clients page - this would need:
- Clients to be able to post information on the site
- Clients to be able to pay online - this would need to be linked to a database and an automatic message pop up or some system for automatic renewal of subscription.
- Clients would post information in a pre determined format/ 'form'
- A search facility linked to a geographical map - so search for x within 10 or 20 miles of y for example

Hope this answers your questions. Please let me know if you require further info.
Please feel free to email me on susielc@yahoo.co.uk. I haven't used this site before so am not totally sure if this is allowed (to operate outside the site) so I can also send a message with files and a summary outline if required, please let me know.

Thank you

Kind regards

Susie

My problem with your payment by commission is we have no idea what your product is or the market for it.

therefore the 50% commission could end up zero! nil! nothing! for a developer putting in hours upon hours of work into your project

If you have faith in your product then hire a developer at the going hourly / daily rate
