Title:web design build

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

I need someone to build a website from my graphic design. I need 'bigcommerce' shopping software implemented or another similar shopping cart implemented so I can start selling products. We need to get up and running.

The site needs to link to product feeds, to ensure we don't disappoint any customers when our products go out of stock.

I can also exchange graphic/flash design skills for your web design skills!

Think you can do the job? Then please get in contact...

Kind Regards,

Ben Coleman

Hi Ben,

Thank you for posting

We would be interested in your project, but just if you could re-consider your budget as this could be done in Joomla as well for example but it is a good 3 weeks work.

Thanks,
Sean

Hi Sean,

Thanks for getting in touch. I've posted a more thorough brief in the post above. I have also uploaded a holding page to cerealmix.co.uk if you want to go check it out. How much would I have to stretch to?

Would that be three weeks work solid?

I am graphic designer and Flash animator so if you could utilize any of my skills also for some work then that would be great.

From what i've read it seems a Joomla CMS would accommodate my site well.

Thanks

Ben

Hi Dan,

Big Commerce isn’t 100% required any more as my budget won’t stretch to it. Could Pretashop accommodate my graphic design without compromising it? I have uploaded a holding page homepage at cerealmix.co.uk if you want to go check it out.

I’ve started to write a more thorough brief, which is as follows?

Brief

Cerealmix.co.uk is about all things concerning cereal. It’s a source for recipe’s, games, shopping, news and of course the best cereals mixes. It sounds silly because it is silly. The flash games will be about cereal but only when I get time to design and program them, for the time being I’ll be using games I have borrowed.’¬ The target audience is everyone.

Initially I needed a Content Management System to allow me to update my shopping cart on a regular basis. I also want to be able to update each page to keep the site fresh. I need a CMS for a:

• Home page
• Whats your mix? page
• Games page
• Recipe page
• Shopping Cart
• News page
• Left Menu for each page

I have read and heard Joomla is a good CMS, but as the pro what can you recommend?

The site….

Header and Footer buttons

Header • home, whats your mix?, games, recipes, shop, news

Footer • about us, FAQ, customer servive, privacy policy, site map, returns policy, contact.

Home

Ability to update main image. This is the first image (Buy imported USA cereals) which will be a image transition slideshow with some cool effect for the transition. I am currently looking for one on the net. I saw one a few years ago which was had a liquid splashing transition, I haven’t found it yet but I will continue the search.
