Title:Video gallery
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
We need a single page video gallery for our website - almost identical to that at: http://blog.xero.com/2008/12/videos/
We would want the gallery to be able to show:
Videos (preferably hosted at Vimeo.com and embedded in this gallery)
FAQ: Text
Screenshots: graphics with explanatory text
So our videos / FAQ / screenshots would be the equivalent of Xero\'s Features / How to / Tips.
We need the ability to edit / add / remove items - happy to do so by changing lines in files but we would need to know exactly where to do so.
Our website is driven by a \"Smarty\" type PHP CMS using template files such as I have attached. To change <head> content you will need to edit the template and save as a new file etc.
Please be sure to ask for any clarification to ensure that you can achieve this. We need the resulting video / graphics / FAQ gallery to be as \"clean\" and minimalist as the example at Xero - of course in our colours etc.

J. M. on 08/02/2010 14:42Would it be okay if you had the ability to update videos in your list externally? (e.g via vimeo.com for your videos, and a photo gallery such as picasa.com for your photos). A solution with this in mind would be appealing to your budget.
T. L. on 08/02/2010 14:48Yes I think that would be fine.
1. Would a short description of the video come across into the gallery so that users could select the appropriate one?
2. Likewise would photos have a description?
3. Could there also be a straight text FAQ section?
Could the whole thing be made to look as professional as http://blog.xero.com/2008/12/videos/
T. L. on 08/02/2010 14:50Yes, that sounds OK as long as:
1. Videos could bring across a short description for the navigation
2. Likewise graphics
3. Could there also be a straight text FAQ section
And all maintan the professional look & feel of http://blog.xero.com/2008/12/videos/
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
