Upgrade existing website

I have recently purchased a website that needs upgrading. The name of the site is short-story.me. You will need to understand the functionality of the site before submitting a bid. Please ensure you are fully aware of this. I want to add an additional three categories to allow writers to submit to - children's fiction, flash fiction and poetry.

Is it possible to build a site like this using Wordpress - my personal preference, because I am familiar with it.

I would like you to submit a bid for upgrading the site using either Wordpress or your preferred option.
