Title:Telemarketer - B2B Appointment Making
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
An appointment maker is needed to make B2B appointments with decision makers in a variety of industries. SME companies that are attending trade shows and exhibitions with staff.
We are a training company that train staff how to manage a trade stand at an exhibition. 1 day\'s work per week (can be split) to fill a reps diary for a week to start with and more as we grow.
We supply te lead data in Excel format, including company name, contact details, contact 2 details, phone numbers, email addresses etc. We supply 200 leads per month to work with. Diaries can be sent to reps in Excel, some knowledge of geography is required or Excel experience to sort data into geographical regions.
This is not hard sell, as the training product is a great product to sell once the appointment is made, but the appointments need to be made with the right people in the organisation which may take a couple of calls.
\'Paid per appointment\' bids will be favoured over hourly rates. A 45 minute training webinar and scripts (which can be changed to suit) have been produced so you will know exactly what your talking about.

S. S. on 26/08/2010 11:37Hi Mark
Is this going to be a long term commitment which is what I am looking for.
I have much experience in appt making and in manning exhibition stands so would this be relevant to your opening. Having spent many years on the road in the Uk would this be of help.
Regards
Stephen
M. I. on 27/08/2010 11:08Hi Stephen
Yes, this is a long term role. I've been looking at the details of your bid. I'm thinking outloud here.
If we complete, lets say 20 appointments per month our bill to you would come to £2,000 per lead and £50 commission on sale.
If we have a 35% conversion rate, we would then owe you a further £350. You would have then cost us £2,350 for a month. For that I could employ a world class telecanvasser in my office and manage them locally.
As I said, I'm thinking outloud here, but this has to work for all concerned. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
regards
Mark

8 Hours per week and 16 Leads per day, I believe is unachievable by world class standards?
I too have managed an exhibition stand on behalf of an outsource telemarketing/business development company with very successful results.
Let me know your thoughts on this.
Why is paid per appointment bids favoured over hourly rate bids? Are you a start up or have cashflow problems?
Please excuse me for being so direct, from experience commission only potentially attracts poor and not correctly qualified results.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I think that you may have mis understood. Nothing is set in stone, if you are interested in the role and you'd like to bid then do so
