Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 2 Days
General information for the business: I am a Locum Dentist
Industry: Healthcare
Kind of support: Tax
Description of support work: I am a Locum Dentist looking for some tax advice.
I want to make sure I am as tax efficient as I can, I have been told that if I do this through setting up a Limited Company I can use dividends from the company to be tax efficient.
I currently work for a number of practices, and my work is all given to me from a recruitment agency. I invoice the agency for the time I am working on their assignments. I will have some expenses but these are likely to be relatively minimal compared to the income, travel, food, accommodation, mobile phone, etc.
For this work I would like clear advice on how I can use the limited company to be as tax efficient as possible. I am not looking to do anything that HMRC is against but I do want to make sure I am paying the tax I owe, but making sure this is as efficient as I can.
I would also like to consider making payments into a pension plan, how effective can this be in helping with the tax situation.
Ideally, I would like clear instructions of what I need to do, how to do it, and the limits to which I can go.
Please feel free to ask me any questions relating to this work. Would like it done asap (next couple of days ideally)
Extra notes: My income is expected to be in the region of £110k per year.
It is looking like one assignment for the year will alone be £50k of this.
UK Tax knowledge essential
