M. M. on 20/03/2010 17:28Hi Carlos, It is a database and software recording the customers basic information name address tel etc, a booking system, a easy to follow end of day cash sheet, email export list, a diary so when you click on a day it brings you into the bookings for that day, Automatic Alerts on the top of the page that are inputted through an administrator panel with aproximately 9 extra inputs, staff details, accident reports page, which is generated from a reports page with approximately 9 report heading and data and approximately 4 other buttons to click on to upload various other data. I would require the option were it is not online but if 2 Pc's were 250 yards away that the data is on one main PC and it could be viewed on the other, the reason for this is the broadband area is very poorly serviced here at the minute? I would need passwords for various parts of the software.
I have never used this system peopleperour before, I presume I get to speak to you at some point, as you can see from the text I am not great at the technology jargon sorry, I am not sure how this will turn out so hopefuly you will keep it as competitively priced as possible for me, I have never had something like this done before? No problem sending me more questions.
Thank you

M. M. on 22/03/2010 08:39Hi Carlos,
Thanks for getting back to me: 1/ I am looking for a Windows browser but were 1 computer has the data on it and the 2nd basically just shows the data from a location aprox 200 yards away or maybe I need the web browser but I do not want to have it online via internet. Sorry I think you will probably know which one from the above, I need to create a mailing list.
The opening page will have aproximately 7 main tabs on it with a calendar and a daily schedule of classes/instructors, if you can think of an example like a gym, this is not a gym but similar where clients data need to be inputed to record all details, classes available, clients booking in for there next class, assigned instructors etc, this is inputed through a admin section. There will also be a financial reporting section which generates end of day cash sheets and records weekly totals/creates an invoice. Branching off those 7 main tabs is were you click into entering data to do with what happens and records what happens those would have aprox 4 inputs on Administrator like staff details, password info etc, then on reports you would have aprox 9 inputs for data like accident reports, generating alerts which will show on the main page. Just to let you know this is not a company, I am a sole trader and I have never done anything like this before nor have I used this people per hour system, but I have budgeted for a weeks work 40 hours at your rate. I would need this by the second week in April, it must be mainly easy to navigate, ability to edit and print certain areas and completely user friendly, that is were I would need you expertise.
Many thanks,
Marie
C. H. on 21/03/2010 23:01Hi There,
Thank you for inviting me to bid on this project. I have just a few small questions.
(1) Are you looking for a windows program or a web browser based program to be developed (this can be stored locally) or does it matter?
(2) What do you mean when you say "e-mail export list"? Do you mean to create a mailing list?
(3) Can you explain the following with a little more detail please
"Automatic Alerts on the top of the page that are inputted through an administrator panel with aproximately 9 extra inputs, staff details, accident reports page, which is generated from a reports page with approximately 9 report heading and data and approximately 4 other buttons to click on to upload various other data"
I look forward to bidding on this project when I have an idea of the full scope of the project.
Regards,
Conor

A. C. on 22/03/2010 01:53Hi,
Methinks this job could be done remotely. Please invite me to bid, and I will explain why in my proposal.
So far, I note 0 bids, probably due to the Ireland restriction.
From Andrew Carr (Leeds, Yorkshire).

M. M. on 22/03/2010 10:44Thanks Andrew, but I would have to get this package in Ireland as it would be easier as I have never had this done before and would want to explain person to person and to view what the info I have done so far.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
